It's not often that we have an oops, but when we do, we own it and offer it at a discounted price!! What we have here is a big oops (for us) because these opals have gorgeous colour and deserve to fetch a good price - but only a small oops (for you) in reality. Check out the photos and spot the small error. We've blown up the photos to make it super obvious to the purchaser, but when you shrink them back down to normal size, pop them in your ear and move around - no one is going to notice a thing except for the gorgeous opal colour!!
Check out the photos .... still not sure what the oops is? One of the opals has a slight slant to it which occurred as we were setting the opal in the bezel. As a result the sides aren't as even as we normally would like. That's it!
These 6mm round, solid Coober Pedy opal earrings have been set in 9 carat yellow gold bezels with 925 sterling silver backs and centre pole. They have great rainbow colours in all light conditions.
