Do you offer Custom Orders?

We love being able to design custom jewellery for our customers.  If you can’t find your perfect piece on our shop, please reach out to us. With a wide range of rough opal ready to cut and polish we can cater for most tastes and budgets.  Let Opal Quest make your vision a reality!

What is your Refund & Return Policy?

At Opal Quest, you are the most important part of our business. This means we give you the choice to return any opal that you buy from us if it is not exactly what you want.   We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase.

If you are not happy with the opal you have received or believe it does not represent what you saw online, we will refund you within 15 days of purchase. Simply send the item back to us in original condition and we will process your refund less shipping charges and any re-import duties. No questions asked!  

Every opal has been photographed honestly, no photo shopping or enhancing of colours. Any flaw that has not been captured by the camera will be detailed in the description for that piece.

To add to your peace of mind, we will also refund if the item has been broken or damaged during transit. We will ask that the item be returned prior to a refund being issued.

This 100% satisfaction guarantee policy means you can shop with full confidence knowing that for whatever reason you can return your opal if it isn’t to your satisfaction.


Do you ship Internationally?

We love watching our opals travel the world and welcome customers from outside of Australia.

We offer two international delivery options for customers outside of Australia.  Australia Post International Express has an estimated delivery timeframe of 14-21 business days.   DHL Express couriers offer an express service with delivery to the door (no PO Box) within 7-10 business days.  Both offer peace of mind with tracking and signature on delivery.

Please ensure that ALL contact details are entered at time of purchase – including contact phone number and email.  These are required for customs documentation.  We are legally required to provide a description of your purchase and purchase price on the customs paperwork.  If a duty is payable you will be contacted by your local customs agency or DHL (if this delivery option is selected) to arrange payment prior to delivery.  All duties are the responsibility of the purchaser.  We are unable to advise what, if any, duties are payable as they vary from country to country.
